Cornwall man arrested for counterfeit money

CORNWALL, Ontario – Corry Crowder, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 20, 2018 and charged with uttering counterfeit money x two and breach of probation x two for failing to keep the peace. 

It is alleged on two separate occasions on Nov. 18, 2018, the man attended a Montreal Rd. business and provided the clerk with a counterfeit $100 USD bill on both occasions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On Nov. 20, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on Dec. 27, 2018.

UPDATE ON MISSING PERSON

CORNWALLL, Ontario – On Nov. 1, 2018 the Cornwall Police Service (CPS) released a Missing Person Notice for Brittany Mussgnug. On Nov. 20, 2018, the woman was successfully located and is no longer missing. The CPS would like to thank the public for their assistance in sharing the Missing Person Notice across social media and aiding us with this investigation.
