CORNWALL, Ontario – The discovery of a Cornwall man’s body in an east end home on Saturday is being ruled as non-suspicious by police.
Sgt. Trevor Butler of the Cornwall Community Police Service told Seaway News that the case is not a criminal matter and has been handed over to the Ontario Coroner’s Office.
“A gentleman passed away at home, there was nothing suspicious about it,” said Butler. “We have no further involvement.”
Police and paramedics were called to the residence at 12:34 p.m.
No further details were provided “to be sensitive to the family of the deceased party.”
