CORNWALL, Ontario – Veteran Just for Laughs comic Derek Edwards is coming to Cornwall on Nov. 4 and is bringing his brazen new act, Alls I’m saying with him.
Edwards has said that over his nearly 30 years in the comedy business, he has honed his observational comedy skills.
“When I would make observations before, but it would be kind of shallow,” he said. “Now it is much more truthful and resonates more with the audience.”
He added that “This show features civilized people sitting around and talking about life. I hate to give too much away, because surprise is such a big part of the game.”
Edwards has been praised from Vegas to St. Johns as a stellar comedian with none other than Rick Mercer observing that “everyone knows Derek is the funniest man in Canada.”
Tickets for the show are on-sale at the Cornwall Civic Complex Box Office.
“There’s nothing like live entertainment,” Edwards said. “And laughter is good for the soul.
