CORNWALL, Ontario – Barry Pierotti and Audrey Lummis, the people behind the Discount Book, say that this year they are bringing more than savings, but also support for a good cause.
This year, the Discount Book has coupons from 34 different businesses which adds up to $3, 500 in savings all of which can be purchased for $20 in the Discount Book.
A part of the proceeds from the book will go to support Hospice Cornwall.
Pierotti said that he knew people who were cared for by Hospice Cornwall and says that they do a fantastic job in a difficult situation.
The Discount Book has been in publication for 26 years and Pierotti has been publishing it for the past 12.
He says that by buying the Discount Book, people are helping Hospice, helping themselves and helping local businesses.
The Discount Book is available at the Lotto both on the second floor of the Cornwall Square, Jean Coutu, Your Credit Union and at most businesses listed in the book.
