CORNWALL, Ontario – A free, mobile legal clinic will be at the Cornwall Civic Complex on Thursday, Oct. 25.
The clinic has been organized by by the Law Practice Program (LPP) of the Faculty of Law (Common Law Section) of the University of Ottawa, the Ontario Legal Information Centre (the Centre), the Roy McMurtry Legal Clinic the Clinique juridique populaire de Prescott et Russell and the Clinique juridique francophone de l’Est d’Ottawa.
The clinic is open to everyone regardless of financial status.
“Candidates in the accreditation process of the Law Society of Ontario and half a dozen lawyers will participate to the clinic and will offer free half-hour consultation in family law, employment law/human rights, landlord and tenant law, wills and estates and maintenance of income,” a press release from the Ontario Legal Information Centre reads.
