CORNWALL, Ontario – City hall announced Tuesday morning that Geoff Clarke has been selected as Cornwall’s new director of human resources.
A native of Oshawa, Clarke has previously worked for Volvo as well as St. Joseph’s Health Care Group in Thunder Bay and Bruce Power in Tiverton, Ont.
He graduated with a business administration and human resources management diploma from Durham College.
“I’m excited about being in Cornwall and beginning this new opportunity with the city,” said Clarke.
As director of human resources, Clarke will oversee all employee-related matters for the city and its various departments.
“I am pleased to welcome Mr. Clarke to this important position,” said CAO Norm Levac. “Mr. Clarke is a seasoned human resources professional with a high level of experience in both the private and public sector.”
