CORNWALL, Ontario – A Cornwall man faces a slew of charges, including pointing a firearm, following a heated dispute over property.
Police said a man entered a First Street West home on Oct. 5 and during an argument pointed a hand gun at the occupants of the home.
The man was arrested two days later by police.
Ernest Gambill, 45 of Cornwall was charged with break and enter, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, pointing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and threats.
He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.
