CORNWALL, Ontario – The taste of Italy returns to the Cornwall Legion with Italian Night on Jan. 11 in support of the United Way.

The party kicks off at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Kealey-Greer All Star Band. There will be a selection of Italian dishes with authentic sauce provided by Casa Paolo and served up by local volunteers.

Tickets for the event are available at the United Way office on Water St. and at Rona Cornwall. Tickets are $35 each and are likely to go fast for this popular event.

“Last year was the first year the United Way was involved, and people were putting their forks down as soon as they were done their food and got up to dance,” said Stephanie Lalonde of the United Way of SD&G.

The event has been an annual tradition for nearly 20 years and typically is sold out and raises $5,000 to $6,000.
