CORNWALL, Ontario – Royal LePage Performance Realty is all set for its Christmas House Tour fundraiser.
Taking place on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tourists will have the chance to see seven different stops, and many will be beaming with Christmas cheer.
The Home for the Holidays fundraiser will be raising money for Maison Baldwin House, a protective and support service for abused women and their children.
“The goal of this fundraiser is to raise money for Maison Baldwin House. Last year’s fundraiser raised $7,000. Royal LePage supports women’s shelters in general,” said Karen Boulerice of Royal LePage.
Boulerice said that the tour will be a great time for Christmas lovers.
“The homes are all really different and really spectacular,” she said. “The homeowners are really Christmas fanatics. They called us to volunteer for the most part. It is mostly their Christmas spirit that they want to showcase.”
There will be one stop in South Stormont on Headline Rd., one in South Glengarry on South Branch Rd. and another in South Stormont in the Rosedale Terrace neighbourhood and the rest are located in Cornwall.
Each home will have catered food and door prizes, which include catering gift cards.
Sponsors include St. Lawrence Valley Home Inspection, who sponsored the bookmark advertisements for the tour, Giant Tiger who are supplying shoe bags for the guests so they can carry their shoes with them around the homes. Other sponsors include One Call Plumbing, Leo Martin Insurance and many more.
