The event shapes three backyards into a large haunted backyard for goblins of all ages to enjoy. The event is for the most part wheelchair and stroller accessible to give everyone a chance to check it out.

Along your journey through the haunted yard, you will come across many different locations with characters ready to give you a scare. These locations include: The Witches Huts, the Electric Chair Chamber, the Morgue, the Chapel, the Ghost Playground, the Creepy Graveyard, the Zombie Zone and so much more.

It will be the second year this event will take place at the Power Dam location and they are expecting it to be even better than the last.

“We had about 1,400 kids come by last year but, this year we are hoping to get 2,000.” said Aline Gareau Hebert. “We start planning for the next year as we are taking down this years. We think of what we can use next year but, also what new things to include so it is different every year.”

The addition of a projector to play Halloween clips throughout the night is one of the new additions for this year.

Hebert continued by explaining the reason for putting on this event every year.

“I have always been a Halloween person.” said Hebert. “I used to own a costume shop for many years. When we decided to close, I kept a lot of the costumes which we use every year.”

It will be a fun night and one you will not want to miss.
