CORNWALL, Ontario – A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Fourth St. W. just prior to noon on Thursday, Nov. 23.
She was hit by a white Kia at the intersection of Fourth and Cumberland streets and was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The Cornwall Community Police Service (CCPS) were on the scene with their forensic investigation unit and Fourth St. W. is closed at Cumberland.
Cst. Dan Cloutier of the CCPS told Seaway News that Fourth St. at Cumberland would be closed for some time while the accident was investigated.
