CORNWALL, Ontario – Shortly after 2 p.m. On Dec. 6, 2017 members of the Cornwall Criminal Investigation Division with assistance of Cornwall Emergency Team executed a warrant at an apartment on Brookdale Avenue.
One man was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges in relation to an ongoing investigation. S/Sgt. Kurt Fraser confirmed the Criminal investigation Division is investigating an incident that occurred in early December, 2017, where a man suffered a gunshot wound to his arm. CCPS would like to assure the public that their safety is not at risk and the incident is considered isolated. CCPS will keep the public posted as it’s early the investigation.
