More fraud related charges for Saucier

CORNWALL, Ontario – Gilles Saucier, 56, of Brampton was arrested on Jan. 18, 2018 and charged with fraud over $5,000, breach of trust, misappropriation of funds and use of forged document.

It is alleged the man fraudulently obtained money from an investment client and police were contacted to investigate. On Jan. 18, 2018 the man was taken into custody at the Cornwall Courthouse, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

CORNWALL, Ontario – Kirland Terriah, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on Jan. 18, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in 2017 the man repeatedly communicated with someone he knew despite having been told not to and damaged some property. Police were contacted and a warrant obtained for his arrest. The man was located on Jan. 18, 2018, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court at a later date.

ASSAULT, FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT, BREACH

CORNWALL, Ontario – A 19-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Jan. 18, 2018 and charged with assault, forcible confinement and breach of recognizance for communicating with his ex-girlfriend and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on Jan. 18, 2018 the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend and prevented her from leaving the apartment. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

CORNWALL, Ontario – Scott Taylor, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on Jan. 18, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on Nov. 25, 2017 the man damaged property at the hospital and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On Jan. 18, 2018 the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
