CORNWALL, Ontario – A 50-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on Sept. 19, 2018 and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
between January and September, 2018 the man sexually assaulted his 5-year-old step-granddaughter and police were contacted to investigate. On Sept. 19, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Oct. 2, 2018. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
