CORNWALL, Ontario – What started as a visit to the Cornwall Community Hospital, ended behind bars.
After assaulting a security guard and staff member on duty at the CCH on Monday (Dec. 7), in addition to damaging property, the suspect spit in an arresting officer’s face, police say.
Cornwall Community Police Service arrested Jeremy Labelle at the scene.
He was charged with assault, mischief, assault police, cause disturbance, and held for a bail hearing.
