Man arrested for allegedly possessing crack cocaine, heroin

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Legue, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on December 8 and charged with the following:

• Possession for the purpose of trafficking crack cocaine
• Possession for the purpose of trafficking heroin
• Carrying a concealed weapon
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Possession of property obtained by crime
• Breach of recognizance (for failing to abide by a curfew)
• Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on Saturday, Dec. 8 while at a local bar, the man was breaching his curfew and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of a knife, a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin, as well as a quantity of Canadian and American currency. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
