CORNWALL, Ontatio – Garry Barstch, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on Nov. 25, 2018 and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault, as well as possession of opioids.
On Nov. 25, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Police Service Mobile Community Watch team observed the man allegedly assault another man while in possession of a bat.
Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of a quantity of opioids.
He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Dec. 27, 2018.
