CORNWALL, Ontario – A man behind the wheel of a truck that plowed through a bunch of parked E-bikes and scooters Thursday is now facing drugs charges.
Police said Friday the man, who had to be transported to hospital following the accident Thursday, was in possession of marijuana and Fentanyl.
Police attended the area of Eleventh Street West for a collision where a pickup truck struck several e-bikes and mobility scooters that were on display.
Christopher Hamilton, 31 of Spencerville was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of Fentanyl. He was released to appear in court on September 3rd, 2015. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
