CORNWALL, Ontario – A Cornwall man is in jail after showing up at his ex-wife’s house drunk, while carrying a concealed knife.
Police said the man is under conditions prohibiting him from drinking, but he was clearly intoxicated when he arrived at his ex’s home early Saturday morning.
During their investigation police found the man was located and found to be in possession of a knife and a quantity of pills and marijuana.
The man, 37, was charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew, having consumed alcohol and being in possession of a controlled substance, as well as being in possession of a weapon and breach of probation for attempting to communicate with his ex-wife and failing to keep the peace.
He was held for a bail hearing.
