CORNWALL, Ontario – The lineup for the newest summer festival in the city includes a trio of high-caliber talent.
Cornwall Musicfest headliners include Brad Roberts of the Crash Test Dummies, Sean McCann of Great Big Sea and The Paul Deslauriers Band – which is fronted by the city’s own guitar virtuoso.
The acts performing at the Aug. 20 event were unveiled at an 8 p.m. party at the Jet Set Pub at the Nav Centre.
The Nav Centre will be the host venue for Musicfest, which also includes a tidal wave of other performers.
‘One of These Nights’ – an Eagles tribute band, is also on the playbill. Acoutis performers include Ryan and Amanda, Tommy Heatly, Chris Benton, Bruce Ciccarelli, Mena Hardy, Jesse Ferguson and Nick Seguin.
Canadian rockers Cardboard Crowns will also perform.
Cornwall Musicfest tickets go on sale at the announcement party, both online and at the Nav Centre Cafe. The event takes place at the Nav Centre and will have a number of stages for different acts.
The event is a 19-and-over affair.
“We encourage you to purchase your tickets early in effort to not miss out on the biggest party of the year,” said Musicfest organizer Jason Mitchell.
