CORNWALL, Ontario – On Monday 7 May 2018 at 1:55pm, Ontario including the residents of the City of Cornwall will receive a test message of the Alert Ready System sent to radio, television and alert-capable LTE cellular devices.
Alert Ready is system developed by emergency management partners to deliver critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians during an emergency.
Municipal officials may use the Alert Ready System when there is an immediate or imminent threat to life, or a serious threat to public health, safety and security, or substantial damage to property.
