CORNWALL, Ontario – Beginning in September 2017, two new mental health programs will be available to students at St. Lawrence College’s Brockville Campus, a two-year Mental Wellness and Addictions Worker diploma, as well as a one-year Ontario Graduate Certificate in Addictions in Mental Health.
These programs will provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required by front-line workers and supervisors in order to deliver responsive and effective additions and mental health services to our communities. As a field with supportive Mental Health and Addictions institutions and organizations in our communities, St. Lawrence College graduates will be high in demand upon graduation.
Representatives from these new as well as all our programs will be a part of Open House activities on Saturday, November 26th from 9-1pm.
Prospective students will be able to learn more about the program, talk to faculty and learn about the potential career opportunities available to them upon graduation.
Fall Open House gives future students and their families a unique opportunity to speak to faculty, current students and staff, and tour labs and facilities. The event showcases services and highlights our academic programs. The journey to college brings many questions about careers, academic challenges, college fees, and more; we’re here to answer all those questions.
