SOUTH GLENGARRY, Ontario – Fire crews were called to a structure fire at approx. 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28 on Concession Rd. 2.
It was reported by fire crews that a home and an attached garage sustained serious damage during the blaze.
No one was injured or in the residence during the time of the fire. The owner, who is out of town, has been notified about the incident.
Concession Rd. 2 between First Line Rd. and Second Line Rd. is closed as fire services continue to occupy the scene. The reopening time remains unknown.
South Glengarry Fire Chief Dave Robertson was out of town and unavailable for a comment at the time of publication.
