OPP looking for suspects after robbery at Blue Anchor

CORNWALL, Ontario – Everyone’s ‘go-to’ restaurant for perch in the Cornwall area was robbed on Tuesday morning – and SD&G OPP are still searching for the two culprits.

Police released surveillance photos of the robbery which occurred at the Blue Anchor Bar & Grill in South Glengarry on County Road 2.

On September 2, at approximately 7 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break-in at the popular eaterie.

Investigation indicated that between 2:50-3:20 a.m., a pair of male suspects forcibly entered the building via the rooftop.

Inside, a quantity of cash was taken.

Both males are described as Caucasian, 5’7”-6’0” tall, slim build, wearing rain type pants and running shoes. One wore a baseball cap, the other a hoodie style top.
