NORTH DUNDAS, Ontario – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) has seized a variety of illegal drugs at a home in North Dundas Township.
On August 20, 2020 members of the Street Crime Unit, assisted by the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and officers with the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry OPP Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Church Street on North Dundas.
Officers located suspected cocaine, blue Fentanyl, methamphetamine (speed), crystal meth and Oxycodone. They also seized imitation weapons, weapon parts, ammunition and items typically associated with drug dealing. Three people were arrested.
Christopher SULLIVAN, aged 34, of North Dundas Township has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) sec. 5(2) – four counts
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – CDSA sec. 4(1)
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order – Criminal Code sec. 117.01(1) – two counts
Amanda-Jean MARWICK, age 37 of North Dundas Township has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA sec. 5(2) – four counts
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – CDSA sec. 4(1)
These accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on November 3, 2020.
Brendon CHARBONNEAU, age 19 of Ottawa has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA sec. 5(2)
- Fail to comply with an Undertaking – CC sec. 145(4)(a)
- Fail to comply with a Probation Order – CC sec. 733.1(1) – two counts
- Fail to comply with a Release Order- CC sec. 145(5)(a)
The accused was remanded in custody until a bail hearing, scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on August 21, 2020.
