Police investigate abandoned warehouse fire

CORNWALL, Ontario – Cornwall police are investigating a possible arson case after an abandoned warehouse caught fire late Sunday night.

Platoon Chief Pierre Baril said the Fire Services Department responded to the blaze at 10:10 p.m. in the 900 block of 10th Street East.

Eight fire personnel and three vehicles were at the scene, near Emard Brothers Lumber, while another crew was extinguishing a stove top grease fire on the 1300 block of Princess Street.

There were no injuries.
