CORNWALL, Ontario – A 70-year-old cyclist, critically injured while riding his bike near the intersection of Ninth and Sydney streets, has died in hospital.
Cornwall Community Police Service are investigating a collision that occurred on Tuesday (July 14) north of the intersection at about 9:15 a.m. between a cyclist and a blue Ford Taurus.
According to a media statement issued by CCPS Const. Daniel Cloutier on Wednesday morning, the man was transported to hospital after the accident with serious injuries, and later died.
Cornwall police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision or has any information about the matter to contact Cst. Matthew Dupuis at 933-5000 ext.2755.
