CORNWALL, Ontario – Crews continue to return power to hundreds of people across SD and G who were left in the dark early Wednesday.
Power was expected to be fully restored by lunch time, but Hydro One said on its website that 1,371 customers are still waiting. The cause of the interruption, which left as many as 5,000 without power, is not known.
The power outage follows a day of terrible winter weather, with plenty of snow, rain and ice.
