SOUTH STORMONT, Ontario – On Nov. 20, 2017 at approximately 8:15am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a theft at a residence on County Road 36, South Stormont Township.

Investigation indicated that sometime overnight Nov. 20, 2017 culprit(s) attended the property and removed a 2016 Snow King Utility trailer with two motorcycles( 2005 Harley Davidson and 2008 Triumph Rocket) and a Wacker Neuson GP5600 yellow generator.

On Nov. 21, 2017, members of the Community Street Crime Unit of SD&G OPP executed a Search Warrant at a residence on Richmond Drive, South Stormont Township.

This resulted in the recovery of the stolen property taken from County Road 36 and a 2012 Dodge Ram (Stolen from Leeds County)

Larry LABELLE (41) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with;

– Possession of Property obtained by crime – Under $5000(2 counts)

– Possession of Property obtained by crime – Over $5000(5 counts)

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on Jan. 16, 2018.
