SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate a Fail To Remain Motor Vehicle/Pedestrian Collision that occurred at approximately 5:53 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2018.

At that time responding officers located an adult female pedestrian suffering from serious non-life threatening injuries on Shannette Road, South Dundas Township. The female was transported to hospital.

Investigation to date reveals that the female victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle, which then left the scene. 

The vehicle description from a witness is as follows: small, black(possibly dark blue), four door car with oval type headlights (possibly a newer model).  The vehicle was last seen turning onto Strader Road, South Dundas.

The Stormont Dundas Glengarry OPP is continuing with the investigation.
