UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – On June 27 – July 3, 2018 Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement in SD&G and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicles were impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven days in accordance to policy.

 June 27, 2018 – 4:12pm (South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 151km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Male driver (37) from Montreal, Quebec was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

June 29, 2018 – 12:02am (North Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h(80km/h zone)(County Road 31). Male driver (20) from Fort Bay, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

July 1, 2018 – 7:30am (South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 159km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Male driver (33) from Toronto, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).

July 1, 2018 – 11:13am (South Stormont); vehicle stopped travelling 155km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Male driver (28) from Lachine, Quebec was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).-             

July 2, 2018 – 8:32am (South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 168km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Male driver (53) from China was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).-             

July 3, 2018 – 12:23am (South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 156km/h (100km/h zone)(Highway 401). Female driver (21) from South Stormont Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
