ST. ANDREW’S WEST, Ontario – The Knights of Columbus and community volunteers came together to organize the second St. Andrew’s Fest this weekend.

Festivities began Friday night, Aug. 17, with a screening of the movie Frozen for the kids and a magic show.

Saturday morning started with a community breakfast and entertainment onstage all day long with fireworks at night starting at 10 p.m.

There were also bouncy castles, a waterslide provided by the South Stormont Fire Service and a golf cart pulled train for the kids.

Money raised by the event is going to support the Knights of Columbus Council 10416, who will use the funds to help support the community throughout the year.

The event was organized by as many as 20 volunteers who have been planning the event since April.
