SOUTH GLENGARRY, ONTARIO, July 7, 2023 – Mayor Lachlan McDonald and Deputy Mayor Martin Lang were pleased to join MP Eric Duncan and MPP Nolan Quinn to welcome No Boundary Flooring to the Township with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, July 6th. Store owners Kelly and Jennifer Atchison were warmly welcomed and presented with congratulatory certificates from attending dignitaries.
Kelly, employed as a patrol supervisor with SDG Counites, recognized this business opportunity when learning about Mainville Flooring’s closure in Cornwall due to retirement. Kelly approached the owners and established an agreement to purchase their vendor and customer lists and engage Guy Mainville to help launch No Boundary Flooring. According to Kelly, “Guy’s heavily involved in this transition, helping by dealing with suppliers and customer contacts. He will handle commercial flooring sales”.
While Kelly continues to work for the Counties, his wife Jennifer will oversee the retail store located in Unit 9, 850 Boundary Road. The showroom features a variety of popular residential and commercial flooring brands in materials ranging from engineered hardwood to porcelain, laminate, ceramic, and carpeting, and offers a selection of wall tiles, and window blinds.
“The Township of South Glengarry is thrilled to welcome No Boundary Flooring as they plant their roots in our vibrant community,” stated Mayor Lachlan McDonald, “With their exceptional craftsmanship, I’m certain that Kelly, Jennifer, and their team will leave a lasting impression in our community. Welcome to South Glengarry!”
Kelly and Jennifer engaged Fresh FM to broadcast the grand opening live on location from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and hosted a grand opening BBQ directly after. No Boundary Flooring is offering 10% off all purchases during their first month of operations.
