The Cornwall Community Police Service arrested Joey Laurin, 18, on Thursday on the strength of a warrant during a traffic stop.
According to city cops, the suspect stormed into the residence of a 27-year-old man on February 14 and sprayed him with a noxious spray before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim and the alleged thief knew each other.
