Significant snowfall coming to region
Severe weather coming to Cornwall and area.

CORNWALL and UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – Environment Canada has issued a statement about significant snowfall coming to the Cornwall region for the night of Monday, Jan. 28, 2019.

“Snow, at times heavy, will develop this evening and persist for much of Tuesday. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible by Tuesday night,” the Environment Canada Special Weather Statement reads. “Travel may become hazardous due to reduced visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow. There may be an impact on the commute Tuesday.”

According to The Weather Network snow is not expected to begin until early Tuesday morning and will continue into Wednesday.
