CORNWALL, Ontario – The City of Cornwall is advising motorists that South Branch Road will be closed from Boundary Road to McConnell Avenue beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Detour signs will be erected diverting through traffic to Headline Road and the Service Road.
It’s anticipated this closure will last up to two days. Local traffic will be permitted on South Branch Road to access their homes and businesses.
This road closure is required to replace a culvert under the roadway that is collapsing just west of the cemetery. No through traffic will be able to pass through the worksite as the road will be excavated at this location.
