SD&G – Two drivers from Mississauga and Saudi Arabia had their vehicles impounded for excessive speeding.
SD&G OPP caught the alleged lead-foots on Highway 401 in the Township of South Dundas.
The first motorist, a 28-year-old man from Saudi Arabia, was allegedly driving 163 kilometres in a 100km/h zone at 9:40 a.m. Friday (March 18).
The second driver, a 38-year-old woman from Mississauga, Ont., was allegedly driving 152 kilometres in a 100km/h zone at 9:12 a.m. Saturday (March 19).
Both vehicles were impounded for a week and the drivers’ permits were suspended for the same amount of time.
