UNITED COUNTIES of SD&G, Ontario – On July 12, 2017, Highway Safety Division Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Dundas Townships and County Road 43 North Glengarry Township and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds.
The vehicles were impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– July 12, 2017 – 7:31am (South Dundas); vehicle stopped travelling 173km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (32) from Scarborough,Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– July 12, 2017 – 7:29pm (North Glengarry); vehicle stopped travelling 161km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (28) from North Glengarry, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
