CORNWALL, Ontario – From April 6-7, 2018 the seventh annual Woodsmoke Bluegrass Jamboree event, will take center stage at the NAV Center.

This annual two-day event will be featuring many talented world-class musicians who will preform some of the best bluegrass music. This year’s participants include Marie Johnston, John Richard, Backcountry Bluegrass, Ray Legere and Frank Doody, Gilles Leclerc, Darwin Thom, Dusty Drifters, Derek Brennan, Bluegrass Junction, Peter Dawson, John Richard, the Woodsmoke House Band, also Marc, Phaedra Roy and Winterline.

The Woodsmoke Blueglass Jamboree originated as an idea by Darwin Thom, a performer and organizer of the Woodsmoke Bluegrass event, and some fellow musician’s friends during an acoustic jam at home.

The event has grown drastically each year, with the majority of attendees coming from outside of Cornwall. The majority comes from Bluegrass players and fans from across Ontario, Quebec and New York, who regularly make the trip in the festivities.

The tickets are available for $25 for individual show, $40 for both Saturday shows or $60 for a weekend pass. Tickets will be available at Melody Music on Pitt St.
