CORNWALL, Ontario – After threatening to kill three people, a 20-year-old Cornwall man chased an 18-year-old with a knife in the city’s east end early Wednesday morning, police say.
According to the Cornwall Community Police Service, Brandon Rivette was arrested on Lefebvre Street after responding to a disturbance call.
He has been charged with three counts of threats, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police confirmed the suspect and victims were known to each other.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
