NORTH STORMONT, Ontario – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were at the scene of a single vehicle collision on County Rd. 12 and County Rd. 9, North Stormont Township.

Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 12:48 a.m., a passenger vehicle was travelling southbound on County Road 12, North Stormont Township when, for reasons under investigation, it left the roadway and rolled over into the ditch.

Three males, 17, 18, and 19-years-old of the southbound passenger vehicle were taken to hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries.

SD&G OPP continue to process the scene, with the assistance of OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).

As the investigation continues, a section of County Rd. 12 and County Rd. 9 was closed to traffic with indicated detours in place. The Township of North Stormont Office (Berwick) was closed due to the road closure.
