Bring out your best attire or sport your tartan in Glengarry style. On Saturday, September 9th, the Township of South Glengarry hosts the 2023 Business and Community Awards Gala, a great place to mingle, enjoy excellent food and drink, and – of course – witness the presentation of awards given to recipients in six categories: Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Community Service, Excellence in Agriculture and Youth Merit.
This time-honoured event recognizes business excellence, individuals and groups committed to community service, and entrepreneurial success that improves our collective prosperity and quality of life. Join Members of Council, business and community leaders, family, and friends as they converge to celebrate South Glengarry’s greatness.
The venue for this glitzy evening is the Tartan Hall, 2nd floor of the Char-Lan Recreation Centre in Williamstown. Grab a cocktail at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy dinner and complimentary wine at 7:00 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony. Due to gracious support from local businesses, you can purchase tickets for $50 each.
