TRUNK SALE: For those who like to shop

It was time to shop 'til you drop at the fourth annual Trunk Sale and Pamper Me Party

CORNWALL, Ontario – We 3 Girls and Co. invite the community to “shop ‘til you drop” when their fifth annual Trunk Sale and Pamper Me Party is held, on Sunday Nov. 2 from 10-4, at Marlin Orchards.

The event is raising funds for the local branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

“With over 90 vendors to choose from, there is definitely something to be found for everyone on your list,” said co-organizer Debbie Burns.

For many, the Trunk Sale and Pamper Me Party is the unofficial kick-off to their holiday shopping season.

Choose from a vast amount of local talented artists, artisans, Cornwall and area shopkeepers, as well as vendors coming from the Ottawa and Montreal markets.

“This year, you can expect to see 40 brand new vendors to the show offering a wide range of items new to the market helping to create our unique, somewhat ‘one of a kind’ show,” said Burns.

Funds for the MS Society are raised through admission tickets, raffles, a percentage of sales, and a ‘sample for donation’ provided by several restaurant partners.

To date, We 3 Girls and Co. have raised more than $40,000.

Burns and Julie Hickman co-founded the fundraising group in 2010 with their first-ever event held at Sign it Signs in Williamstown.

With a much larger than expected crowd, they quickly realized that more help and a new venue was needed.

Cue Marlin Orchards and the talents of Nancy Sylvester and Tony Lacroix.

“This being our 5th year, we have worked very hard to bring our guests a little bit of everything,” she said.

Tickets are $5 at the door. Skip the long line-up and pre-purchase them at Cornwall Toyota, Life’s Little Pleasures, Echo Trends, Marlins, Neo Vintage, Love Love Food, and Joe’s Place.
