United Way hits 85% of $710,000 goal

CORNWALL, Ontario – The United Way of SD&G is seeking continued support from the community to reach its 2015 campaign goal.

The charitable organization has reached 85 per cent of their $710,000 target, after extending fundraising efforts through to January 15, 2016.

“We still have 15 per cent to go and hope that donations will continue until that date to help us reach our goal,” said Lori Greer, United of SD&G executive director.

The organization supports 17 local non-profit agencies (offering 18 programs), serving thousands of residents across Cornwall and the United Counties.
