CORNWALL, Ontario – Police confirmed late Sunday night one person was taken to hospital with injuries following an accident near the corner of Pitt and Fourth streets in Cornwall.
Two vehicles, which appeared to be pick-up trucks, slammed into each other, which resulted in police closing access to the area.
Sgt. Scott Coulter told Seaway News the intersection was scheduled to reopen sometime before Monday morning.
It’s unclear the status of the individual taken to hospital.
