WINCHESTER, Ontario – The WDMH Auxiliary played Santa this month, with the official presentation of a new ultrasound machine for Diagnostic Imaging. It was purchased by the Auxiliary at a cost of $116,154.60!

Funds were raised throughout the year through events, In-Memoriam gifts and from Gift Shoppe sales.

“Many people are surprised to learn that the Gift Shoppe is the biggest fundraiser that the Auxiliary runs,” explains Auxiliary co-president Elinor Jordan. “We are so grateful to everyone who comes to shop and support patient care at the same time.”

“Thank you to our amazing Auxiliary!” says Cholly Boland, CEO. “They are an essential part of our care team – from their friendly greetings at the front door to their fundraising expertise.”

The WDMH Foundation is currently fundraising for two additional ultrasound machines for our patients. The WDMH Auxiliary will be picking their next fundraising project early in the new year.
