West Quebec earthquake felt in Cornwall

CORNWALL, Ontario – The Ministry of Natural Resources Canada is reporting that a magnitude 4.0 earthquake strong along the border of West Quebec and the United States this morning, Monday, Jan. 13, at approximately 5:38 a.m.

“There are no reports of damage, and none would be expected,” a statement from the ministry reads.

According to the Ministry, the quake was felt in Saint Bruno, Vaudreuil, and Montreal. A small rumble was felt in Cornwall.
