CORNWALL, Ontario – Monday, May 21 is the Victoria Day holiday. Some stores and services within the City of Cornwall will not be running or open that day.

There will be no garbage pick-up on Monday, May 21. All garbage collection will be delayed by one day. Garbage that was to be collected on Monday will be collected on Tuesday. Garbage that was to be collected on Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday and so on.

City of Cornwall Transit buses will not be running on Monday, May 21.

The Cornwall Public Library will be closed.

The Cornwall Civic Complex walking track will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the offices will be closed.

The following businesses will be closed on Monday, May 21:

– Baxtrom’s Your Independent Grocer 

– No Frills

– Food Basics

– The Cornwall Square

– The Beer Store

– The LCBO

The Shoppers Drug Mart located on Brookdale Ave. will be open as will the Jean Coutu on Ninth St. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
