Woman charged following alleged welfare fraud

CORNWALL, Ontario – A Cornwall woman has been arrested for bilking welfare of more than $4,400.

Police arrested the woman Wesnesday and charged her with fraud under $5,000. Police allege Kaila Warwick, 26 failed to declare changes in her living arrangements to the Ontario Works Resource Centre between April, 2015 and September 30th, 2015 which resulted in an overpayment of $ 4419.76. 

The woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter and was released to appear in court next month.
