The Cornwall Police Service has charged a 38 -year-old woman with assaulting a peace officer after she allegedly spat at a member of the CPS during her arrest November 26.
Padocia Cornelius, of Cornwall, was also charged with resisting ai peace officer and five counts of failing to comply with a release order.
It is alleged Nov. 8, 15 and 26, she breached her release order. While being taken into custody, it is also alleged the woman resisted arrest and spat at an officer.
Assault with a weapon
Rashad Massiah, 23, of Cornwall, was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose after police responded to a disturbance call. The man allegedly pointed a BB gun at an individual known to him.
